"Anima Mundi" and Andrea Mati for autism
Parco Bosco Anima Mundi di Camisano Vicentino APS of Chiara Ometto – 13 May 2025
Parco Bosco Anima Mundi (non-profit association) in Camisano Vicentino was founded on 18th May 2023 in collaboration with Camisano Vicentino’s Riambientiamoci Circolo Legambiente.
The association was created by Chiara Ometto and Roberto Giordani and their close friends, including agricultural expert and landscape designer Giuseppe Provasi, with the goal of creating a park, open to the public, on the over 4 hectares of private land that surround the walls on the ancient Camposanto, where the community’s loved ones are buried.
To enrich the local ecosystem and strengthen environmental efforts, over 6,000 small trees (including fruit trees) and two hedges of around 2,600 small plants were planted to mark the southeast and northwest borders, therefore increasing biodiversity and creating a more welcoming environment for local fauna as well as itineraries that lend themselves to environmental education initiatives.
The project has been enriched with the inclusion of socio-cultural and therapeutic goals, with special attention placed on intergenerational exchange and cooperation.
The Parco Bosco Anima Mundi project also includes the creation of a Therapeutic Green Space for Autism Spectrum Disorder (currently being built) and of other therapeutic green projects in the future thanks to the collaboration with Andrea Mati.
