Fondazione CA.RI.GO, together with the social cooperative “La Tempesta”, organised a cultural event on green environments and their therapeutic applications that featured scientific contributions and several experiences of this type of therapy.

Urban spaces and care: consequent beneficial effects on individual and collective health through the presence of nature and its positive implications.
In particular, the role of social cooperation will be addressed, as a driver of human development, at local and national level, the proposal for the regeneration of the former Gorizia Psychiatric Hospital with the re-naturalization of the area, its relationship with the city.
In this multifactorial dimension, the guest of honor was Andrea Mati of Giardineria Italiana who, together with his collaborators Dr. Lucia Conti, therapist, and Costanza Mondani, architect, illustrated his new green care projects, centered on an approach to greenery that takes into account the needs of well-being and social inclusion, integrated with the logic of sustainability.
