Interview with Andrea Mati in Il Fatto Quotidiano – 17 June 2025

“Entrusting distressed plants to distressed people, creating a journey of mutual healing: saving a plant to save a person”. This idea has guided Andrea Mati’s work for decades. Born in 1960, Mati holds diplomas in Agriculture and in Landscape Architecture from Florence. “I’ve always had a deep passion for nature, gardens and plants,” he says, “and at the same time, a strong love for and interest in the social sphere. One day, I decided to combine my passion for greenery with helping vulnerable people”.
