"New Therapeutic Green Spaces" visit to Andrea Mati’s therapeutic gardens – Mati 1909

Organized by the PhD in Urban Future Studies at the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence, in collaboration with Fondazione per il Futuro delle Città, a day of lectures and meetings on therapeutic green spaces was held on 9 July at the Mati 1909 headquarters.
Andrea Mati opened the lecture together with PhD Coordinator Dr. Gherardo Chirici, introducing the theme of healing green spaces and guiding the students through a tour of the therapeutic gardens created on Via Bonellina, exemplary models of Mati’s research on therapeutic green spaces. Following, Prof. Anna Lambertini of the Department of Landscape Architecture (DIDA) presented her vision of therapeutic green spaces and finally, Prof. Michela Baccini of the "G. Parenti" Department of Statistics (DiSIA) discussed the body scientific evidence and perspectives for future applications.
